I came across the following thread that claims Process America is requiring a reserve that they are not giving back to merchants. It could be that these complains are fake, but precaution should always be taken to ensure you’re money won’t be held from you.

I wasn’t able to find any testimonials on the Process America website.

No third-party security (i.e. McAfee, Verisign or Truste), but they also don’t collect the type of information that would require it.

Cancellation Fee:
I was told that if one of their independent sales agents adds a cancellation fee to your contract, then PA will waive it for you. Be sure to speak to them about it first though.

Interchange-Plus Pricing:
Interchange-plus is offered by Process America but only for certain merchants. High risk merchants will likely not be accepted.

Seasonal Downtime:
Seasonal downtime is also offered by Process America. They’ll allow for deactivation and reactivation 3-4 times per year.
