MerchantPlus is another company for which I am obliged to write a positive review. I tried to find some bad news about the company, but to my surprise, the company is doing more than good for merchants and its clients.

First established in 2003, the company is based in New York. The company is big as they have served 20 thousand clients all over the world, but still I was unable to find any serious complaint regarding to their services. I checked online for the reviews of the company but there are very minimal number of reviews that talk bad about the company that is very rare and surprising for a company of such big size and exposure. I must say, Merchantplus is doing an exceptional job when it comes to quality services and ethical business practices.

I rated them 5 out of 5 star company, as I have plenty of reasons to do so. The company doesn’t lock you with anything like early termination fee, allowing their clients to walk away at any point of time, an indication of company’s confidence in their services.

There are no hidden charges like pci compliance fee, setup fee or any other annual or monthly fee. To many merchants surprise, they also offer free payment gateway (NaviGate). Their customer service is also exceptional, with customer support available through community forum, online chat, phone and email. They are also open to high-risk and international businesses.

I tried to search web by using phrases like merchantplus scam, merchantplus complaints and merchantplus reviews, but to my surprise, I only find handful of bad reviews. For a company with businesses over 20 thousand clients, it is more than impressive.

Common Complaints:
There really aren’t enough complaints (as of this update) to determine commonalities between them.

Verifiable Testimonials/References:
I was able to obtain contact information for 4 of the 6 client testimonials they have listed on their site. Out of those 4, I received two actual responses from the people that left the testimonial which was awesome!!

Security/Privacy:
The MerchantPlus digital application is secured by McAfee.

Customer Service:

They allow merchants to access their community forum along with providing 24/7 customer support.

I also contacted their support via email, phone and live chat and find their representatives knowledgeable and courteous.

Contract Duration:

2-years.

Cancellation Fee:
No cancellation fee.

Interchange-Plus Pricing:
Interchange-Plus is offered by MerchantPlus, but only for merchants with large monthly processing volumes.

Seasonal Downtime:
They do offer seasonal downtime, but only for merchants that process more than $100k per month.
