Capital Merchant Solutions Review

Capital Merchant Solutions Review

Capital Merchant Solutions (CMS) is a merchant provider about which all I could find is very impressive. Their profile shows many great things. Capital Merchant Solutions (CMS) was established in 1997 and is based out of Bloomington, Illinois.  I am quite astonished to find that in spite of the facts that they have been in the business for over a decade and number of their merchant clients is above 25,000; they have very few number of complaints filed on the BBB. In fact I could hardly find any negative reviews about them on the web.

They also have Facebook page and Twitter account, so feel free to connect with them through these social media pages but currently their profiles look inactive to me.

Furthermore, they do lock you in a contract, but the terms and conditions of their agreement are quite straightforward. For more information you can certainly look into their website. Good thing is that they don’t charge you for cancellation and they also provide interchange-plus pricing (aka pass through pricing) which I think should be a standard these days.

As far as their customer service is concerned I found their sales rep very helpful and co-operative. Over so many years of business they have been bound to one principle throughout; “Honesty is the best Policy”

I have rated Capital Merchant Solutions (CMS) 4.5 out of 5 for the above stated reasons.

Negative Reviews:

I was quite surprised that for a company of this big size, all I could find across the web was only a small number of complaints and negative reviews against Capital Merchant Solutions (CMS).

The company is also putting in efforts to keep the disputes resolved by actively submitting rebuttals to these complaints. Great Work!

Common Complaints:
I couldn’t find anything in common between any of their complaints because there aren’t enough of them out there.

Verifiable Testimonials/References:

CMS also have verifiable testimonials mentioned on their site but the list is quite short. I approached them all, and so far only two of them have responded. Of these two merchants, one was not much satisfied with the services while the second one provided me with a strong positive response.

No on-site security features (i.e. McAfee, Security Metrics etc…).
