Braintree Payment Solutions Review

Braintree Payment Solutions Review

I was so delighted when I ran across Braintree Payment Solutions. This brilliant company had no trouble passing my critique successfully. Looking at their way of working, I honestly believe that they are not far from becoming the future of merchant service providers. To tell you the truth, they should be the model for credit card processors and everyone should follow in Braintree’s footsteps to become prosperous. Below are the reasons for my statements:

Firstly, they do recognize the place that internet holds in today’s industry. Since digital era, many of the business practices have been left behind and as expositor of unreliable pricing practices; Braintree definitely knows that being forthright with fees will be surely advantageous for them.

Since they don’t make you sign contracts and plus an early termination does not cost you any fee, so decision for cancellation of your account rests with you. If I was in their place, I would do the same.

Moving on, Braintree Payment Solutions are very particular in choice of clients and that not only gives them an advantage of no complaints and nil negative reviews but over and above allow them to concentrate on a small number of big merchants. So they have no difficulty in offering great customer service and can easily uphold them all.

They also have Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages, because they are very much aware of the fact that these social media networks provide a useful mean of communication between merchant providers and us, the merchants. In addition they also have a blog where you find quite useful information.

For above reasons I rate them 5 out of 5.

To process through Braintree Payment Solutions you have to be good enough as a merchant.

Security /Privacy

They don’t have any security features like McAfee, Security Metrics etc. on their site. The security affairs basically vary with the type of information you are required to provide. If a merchant provider asks for sensitive info like SN numbers, then there is a need for third-party security. Otherwise most of the times as in the case of Braintree  payment Solutions, they only require some basic info, then they take care of application  by fax or through some secure online app.

  1. Signed up on 10/31/15 was only suppose to be for credit cards but somehow all paypal transaction and Braintree transactions went into Braintree, I made 8 phone calls and emails and they have yet to contact me back. I disconnected Braintree right away. Not impressed, Most of the numbers I found was for paypal and the only number I found for Braintree of course they didn’t answer but a message says to email them. I love the fact that they have a no reply email saying you are not yet approved and asks for a copy of driver license and utlitiy bill but yet keeps taking your money and you don’t have access to it.
