Big Sky Commerce has been in the business since 2003. Although they are quite younger in the credit card processing industry, their performance has been great. They have set pretty high standards, and that can be agreed seeing their rating on BBB. Moreover, I was able to find only few complaints against them across the web. They have shown “sky high” performance just like their name. Great Job Guys!

I also found their testimonials very impressive and yes, of course how can I forget to mention their customer service which is quite satisfactory as well.

They do lock you in a contract but compared to others the span of it is very short, only 1 year, that’s not a bad deal at all!

Fortunately for seasonal operators, Big Sky does offer seasonal downtime, but only concern here is that your account has to be active for 6 months or above to have the service. Every person who runs a seasonal business would like to cut down the expenses during months of low volume, and that’s where you can turn to Big Sky.

One thing that I didn’t like about Big Sky is their lack of concern about the social media networking. They don’t have any such platform like Facebook, Twitter or any blog where you can connect with Big Sky Commerce online and these are always advantageous in the present (digital) times of online business. Come on, we cannot deny the place that social media holds in today’s world.

I have rated them 4.5 out of 5 due to absence of their social networking platform.

Verifiable Testimonials/References:
I really liked their testimonial section. They have a very long list of testimonials mentioned on their site along with all the necessary details like company, website, both first and last names, etc.

No on-site security features (i.e. Verisign, TrustE, McAfee etc…). They do have a decent privacy policy.

Customer Service:
Looks like their customer service is great. The sales rep was very nice, and answered all of my questions without hesitation.

Contract Duration:
1-year, then it switches to monthly.

Cancellation Fee:
$300 if you cancel before the 1-year contract is through.

Seasonal Downtime:
They do offer seasonal downtime, but only after your account has been active for 6-months or more.
